I am pleased to tell you that you have been accepted for employment as a telephonist, subject to satisfactory completion of further enquiries, and we have arranged for you to start training on Monday 29-7-1974 at:-

TELEPHONIST TRAINING CENTRE
57-59- LONDON WALL
E.C.2.

Our training staff will look forward to seeing you there at 8-15 am. Will you please bring with you this letter, your National Insurance card, Income Tax form P45. A contract of employment will be offered when you start work.

When you have completed your training you will be working at FARADAY Telephone Exchange in the E. C. 4 district.

Punctuality is absolutely essential

I am glad to welcome you to the Post Office, and I hope that you will be happy in the work you have chosen. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that, for a telephonist, punctuality is absolutely essential.
