Gleaming in the sun, a 1979 view of Mondial House living up to its reputation of being 'A Landmark in the City'. Not exactly a building you could fail to notice!

Mondial House circa 1981
Another view (circa 1981) and the car park is (possibly) being redeveloped, leaving an unobstructed view of the side profile. Later notes* suggest it was 'entombed' within the new building.

An Aerial View
This aerial photo clearly shows the step-back ziggurat design of Mondial House. The four main air conditioning units can be seen on the roof of the eighth floor. The design is consistent throughout, with the fire station (back left) adopting the same style.
