It was Sixties psychedelia at the Post Office Tower's 40th birthday party in London on Saturday 8th October 2005 as the reception was adorned with brightly coloured balloons in support of Children In Need.

The lift sped up to the 33rd floor for a whistle stop tour.
In the early evening, before the celebs arrived, it was still very light and the views were as breathtaking as ever.
The professional photographers were out in force and while everyone else played with their digital toys, they captured the very best shots of the celebrities.
Helen Lederer walked briskly past.

Alan Davies Alan Davies detected a path through the crowd.
Pudsey Bear made a grand entrance and got lots of attention from everyone.

At the end of the evening, Jo O'Meara (ex - S Club 7) sang her latest release.
