'The Tower Collection'- We look at the souvenirs of Neil Perkins...

"I have large (100 +) collection of 60s and 70s original Tower souvenirs. My interest in the Tower is part, tall buildings and part, all things 1960s."

Introduction

Neil writes...

"The Post Office Tower is a 1960's icon, a visible reminder of the Swinging 1960s when Britain was  both the fashion and cultural centre of the world. The present day Carnaby Street may now be dull, but the Tower never fails to catch the eye. I was not disappointed on my first visit to the top in 2002."

Tower Souvenirs

Just a few of the many souvenirs in Neil's collection...
Model Towers, cups, ashtrays and leaflets...

"The decade that defined the last century has always been of interest to me. I have collected 1960's Pop Memorabilia and Old Toys for many years, and now thanks to the internet I have been able to build this collection of Tower souvenirs.

I am always interested in adding to my collection, except for postcards and 1st Day Covers."
